About AI Innovators
AI Innovators is a student-led organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of changemakers through accessible, engaging, and meaningful education in artificial intelligence. Founded with the belief that AI literacy should be a right, not a privilege, we work to demystify AI and make it approachable for students and educators from all backgrounds.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower educators and students to harness AI as a tool for learning, enhancing efficiency, and problem-solving. Ultimately, we aim to bridge the gap between students, teachers, and emerging technologies by fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking around artificial intelligence. We hope to cultivate a community where young people can explore how AI shapes the world and how they can shape AI.

Looking Ahead
We're very excited for our events this year! We'll be expanding our reach through more AI Tastings beyond Holton, starting with our brother school Landon and other independent schools in the area such as St. Andrews Episcopal School and the Academy of the Holy Cross. Beyond that, we're planning on stepping into broader conversations on AI's role in education by appearing on an upcoming podcast, and attending the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Symposium on AI and the Future of Learning in Houston this December, where we’ll connect with educators nationwide and showcase how youth can actively shape the future of AI in schools.

Our Story
AI Innovators began with a simple idea: to start an AI club at our school, Holton-Arms school in Bethesda that would make artificial intelligence more approachable and exciting for students. What started as a passion project among a few curious high schoolers quickly revealed something deeper: a widespread interest in AI paired with a lack of accessible, student-friendly resources.

As we began exploring topics like machine learning, ethics, and real-world applications, teachers took notice. They reached out, asking if we could bring what we were doing into their classrooms. That’s when we created our first AI Tasting Workshops: short, hands-on sessions that introduced AI in fun, engaging, and easy-to-understand ways.

The demand grew quickly. What began as a club turned into a movement, with more educators inviting us to lead workshops and more students expressing a desire to learn. From there, AI Innovators expanded into a full-fledged organization, driven by students and built to serve both peers and teachers who want to be part of the AI conversation.
What We Do
In collaboration with the AI faculty leaders at Holton-Arms, we offer hands-on workshops, teacher training programs, student-led seminars, and curated resources that break down complex AI concepts into digestible, real-world applications. Whether it’s designing fun workshops, analyzing current news reports, or exploring the ethics of new technologies, AI Innovators equips learners with the tools and mindset needed to thrive in the age of intelligent technology.
